Two become One

What a joyful celebration we've had these past two Sundays!  Our first service together with our brothers and sisters from the Presbyterian was filled with meaning and joy.  Over 150 people came to experience this new endeavor.   We had over 170 in worship last Sunday!  I have, to put it simply, been awe inspired by the the work of God in this new venture. On our first Sunday we began our worship in the Presbyterian Church with song and sermon.  We moved up the street to conclude our service with communion and symbolically combining two different colors of sand.  Our second service together we had two baptisms as we remembered the baptism of the Lord.  God's presence has been felt throughout the entire weeks and months leading up to these services.  We are so blessed.  Words fail me, and that's saying something for a pastor.  I don't know what God has in store for us in 2015 but I'm holding on waiting to find out.  It's going to be a wonderful ride.

This church is filled with God's people willing and happily ready to serve together.  I'm so honored to be a part of such a wonderful community of faith.
